Our blinds are built with high-grade materials designed to resist wear and tear, ensuring they remain in excellent condition with minimal upkeep.

Ziptrak® blinds offer both manual (crank-handle) and motorised operation, allowing you to easily position them at any height you prefer, whether fully raised or lowered, based on your needs.

  • For manual use, you simply lift or lower the bottom bar to your desired height, and it stays in place without needing any locks.
  • With the motorised option, the blinds are powered by a 240V electrical connection and can be controlled with a wireless remote, which allows you to move the blinds up, down, or stop them at any point. The limits can be set during installation to match your space. Motorised blinds can also be operated through a mobile app or by voice using Google or Alexa.

For a clear view while ensuring some privacy, sunscreen mesh materials are the best choice. They allow for effective airflow while blocking sunlight and glare, making them ideal for outdoor use. Additionally, these fabrics can block up to 96% of wind and rain, helping to maintain a comfortable temperature in the space.

Café-style clear plastic blinds block light effectively and create a cosy atmosphere but limit airflow. Woven mesh blinds allow more light and better ventilation, making them suitable for outdoor spaces. Café-style blinds are fully waterproof, while woven mesh outdoor blinds vary in moisture resistance. Your choice depends on specific needs and preferences.

Ziptrak® blinds feature a patented design that includes a variety of material choices, some of which are waterproof. For instance, café-style PVC and specific high-density mesh fabrics are designed to resist water, making them suitable for various outdoor environments.

Ziptrak® outdoor blinds, designed with a combination of mesh and PVC materials, offer robust protection against elements such as wind, rain, glare, and insects. The extent of rain protection can differ based on the specific type of mesh used, with certain fabrics delivering 70% to 90% defence against rain, wind, sunlight, and UV rays. Furthermore, both clear and tinted PVC options create a completely waterproof surface, providing excellent coverage against the weather.

The pelmet, often referred to as a hood box or cassette, serves to encase and protect the blind system from the elements and pests, helping to keep your blinds in optimal working condition and looking great for years. This feature is especially beneficial for blinds installed outdoors. The latest Ziptrak® Streamline Pelmet boasts a 60% thicker construction, is fully rust-resistant, and is well-suited for coastal environments. It not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also offers an optional Insect Control System for added convenience.

Yes, Ziptrak® blinds can accommodate larger openings. For spaces that exceed the standard width for a single blind, you have the option to use either a permanent or removable post, which allows for the installation of multiple Ziptrak® blinds side by side. These posts can be made from either steel or aluminium and are powder-coated to blend seamlessly with the Ziptrak® hardware. Additionally, the removable post can be easily taken down in approximately 60 seconds, providing an unobstructed view when needed.

All About Shade provides a 5-year warranty on all installations. Ziptrak® offers a 24-month warranty on the components of their outdoor and interior systems for fabricators, retailers, and installers who obtain parts from Ziptrak Pty. Track-guided outdoor blinds, such as the Ziptrak® system developed in Australia, represent a cutting-edge solution for outdoor spaces. This design creates a solid barrier against air, dust, and insects, preventing the blinds from flapping in the wind and eliminating the need for unsightly cords or ropes.

Ziptrak® stands out as a superior choice compared to alternatives like Zipscreen or Shadetrack, primarily due to its patented design that has earned the trust of thousands of homes and businesses across Australia. Its sturdy construction makes it particularly popular in coastal regions, where harsh weather conditions are common. What truly sets Ziptrak® apart are its distinctive features, including a center-lock-release mechanism that enables simultaneous unlocking from both sides, along with the convenience of locking and unlocking from both the inside and outside.

The bottom bar is equipped with two locks located on the left and right sides, which help to keep the blinds firmly in position during strong winds. If you want the convenience of unlocking the blinds from outside the area, you might want to enquire with your retailer about the option to add a “reverse lock” feature. This allows you to use the center-lock-release mechanism for outside access. It’s important to note that while these locks provide stability, they are not designed for security purposes and should not be relied upon to prevent access for children.

To keep your Ziptrak® outdoor blinds looking their best, regular cleaning is crucial for maintaining the appearance of both sunscreen mesh and PVC materials.
